Tank and the Bangas & DJ Rusty Lazer to headline The Bedlam Ball (1/13/16)

On The Night of Delusion, Saturday, January 23rd, 2016, immediately following episode 7 of krewedelusion’s annual parade; the public is invited to Cafe Istanbul (2372 St. Claude Avenue) for a fantastical evening under the Big Top complete with theatrical performances by Tank and the Bangas followed by a dance party with DJ Rusty Lazer. The party shall be a celebration of the reign of King Bragadocious & Captain of New Orleans: Blaine Kern, Sr.

Doors to the event will open at 9pm. Tank and the Bangas will perform from 10pm-11pm and Rusty Lazer will DJ from 11pm-2am. The event will also feature tantalizing performances, some rare decorations from the Mardi Gras World collection and other grand surprises!

General admission tickets are $10.00 in advance and $15.00 at the door. A limited number of VIP Passes are available for $25.00. The VIP Passes include an open bar and a package of special throws from the krewedelusion innerkrewes.

krewedelusion is a dictablanda that appoints a benevolent Ruler, embraces transparency and has a safeword. Its mission is to save the Universe, beginning at its center – New Orleans. A parade with a purpose, krewedelusion will, as always, be the final parade of the evening and will roll through the Marigny to the French Quarter and back, this year beginning at 6:30 on Saturday, January 23rd.

krewedelusion is still open to individuals and new innerkrewes. Additionally, for the first time since its inaugural parade under Le King-at-Large, Harry Shearer, an Army of Clowns will escort the Ruler along the parade route.
